Today was a great day!!! I went out with Tang2, my fav friend since sec school days. We drifted all around town, from Orchard MRT to Lido to Heeren to Orchard CineLeisure to Plaza Singapura. Exactly like a pair of aimless Sotongs flopping all over the place. Which we are, i suppose.
We initially planned to watch a movie, but couldnt find a suitable time slot and suitable movie. Norbit sounded good (especially after watching Little Man), but the time slot was ridiculous. At 7.10 pm when we were looking for a slot more towards 2-3pm.
Ate KFC at Lido, and ice cream choccy float at Swensen's as a snack. And during the Swensen rendezvous, we took out our two lovely hippos to take pics of!! Sooo cute. and the lady/man Kelson serving us, thot we were off our rockers. Well, who cares. To heck with boring old Singaporeans. And.. Erm.. Those who will vomit blood at the sight of us taking care of our hippos.
I am sooo glad of the time when I approached Tang2 in Sec 3 (July 2003) to talk to.. And we ended up as friends. She's a great friend who's there for me all the time, well.. except when she's busy =P
Today, went to ECP (East Coast Park, not the highway) to look for my in-line skates. I skated for like 1 hour plus, then stayed at the Skateline ECP outlet for close to an hour for the skates fitting.. Finally got my skates!!!!

And somehow it has a pink ribbon on the outer sides of each boot. Apparently in support of the Breast Cancer Foundation!! Loool.. I bought it cos it's damn comfy and the bearings are soooo smooth!! I love it.. Wish I had more moolah to buy more pairs of skates.. Gone through 4 pairs le..

Mummy decided to invite cousins over to celebrate my bday, and I had those I liked and those I didnt quite like. One funny thing was, alot of them (uncles, aunts and their friends) thot that they were here to 'celebrate the 2nd day of CNY'. That was pretty funny, cos when they saw my prezzies, they were like, "har, today your bday?! nobody informed me!!" =.= I said, "yea, wu suo wei de la.. lai zhe bian wan jiu shi lor" ("yea, nevermind la.. come here to play can liao")
watched 'dorm2' with weiling and weiyu.. and halfway through yixun joined us. and at 9pm, went down to the karaoke room to sing bday song.. Had a nice choccy creamless cake for me. Aft taking pics with my cousins and mum and bro, wei wei's turn, cos her bday was 2days ago. Haaaa. Uncle Yong was so funny, he was in the midst of singing 'jiu yue jiu de jiu', and switched to the Happy Birthday song for wei wei.. And after finishing it, he continued where the mtv was running. HE'S SO MUSICALLY TALENTED!! And his grin was damn funny manz..
And den, all the cousins went upstairs to mummy's room to watch Little Man, leaving all the old folks to sing oldies :)
