After lab I went out with WifeY!! We ate at Food Republic at Wisma. Actually met Rachel Liying and Kathleen on the way to meet wifey.. Den I spoke to them awhile. Haha. But Kathleen still like so anti-social de lor. I smile at her also she nv smile back. Am I that hard to like??!?!?!?!

The MAU peeps went for the conference.. and I was alone in the lab. Laoban and Mel couldnt go for the dinner, so the baton passed on to me and my friend/cousin etc.
The dinner was at Peony Jade Restaurant at Clarke Quay.. I really dislike Chinese dinners, cos: 1. not suited to my tastebuds 2. waste of time sitting at table waiting for food 3. boring

I am so bored, supposed to go ECP but den sth unfortunate happened, so I couldnt go. Who wants to go out with mii?!?!?!? Life at home is sooo boring, usually. It's the holidays for goodness sakes.
Grades are just pen/pencil marks on a slip of paper. Tho they are so important, a fire can juz ruin everything. So what's there so precious about grades?! Dropped my pipette tip in the dye. Cant remember the name.. And made Wifey inhale so much floating bacteria in the lab.. (so sorry!!)hahaha..
Den we had SUBWAY at orchard cineleisure. And Wifey so cute! Asked her to copy my way of sucking the straw and drink, and she got so shocked when the pressure in the straw 'sucked' her lips into it. :) So cute manz. And we walked around holding hands, adn in the MRT train too, I noticed some ppl staring at us. Haa!!
This morning we had a late breakfast at Maxwell Food Centre with Granpa =) He liked my 'theh-kah'. That's great. Finally able to savour some of his favourite foods which are usually banned by... his kids (my mum and uncle =X)
Finally the real fun began when WeiLing came over to our place. Mum fetched us both to ECP to inline-skate! mAn I love it.. WeiL's a great skater too. Stable, tho Im betta :) [sorry i'm so thick-skinned] We went fast, and chatted.. And went fast.. And I fell down. Scraped my elbows. But it's great lah. I'm a sucker for some mini-pain. I started my attachment on Monday 26 Feb 2007 at MAU lab (immunology lab). Been very interesting working there cos I'v wanted to look into a professional lab for a very long time. But it was kinda intimidating, and still is, tho. I have to do everyting from scratch myself next week. Hahas..
There were alot of techniques and theory to learn, as I am still a major greenhorn at this subject, not having touched on it before. I still dont know why my school posted me there. But still, it's good to know some first-hand knowledge of immunology from the experts, cos I'm taking that module next semester. =) But the experts are always soo busy.. I dont know if they have the time to guide a "greenie" like me
The ppl in my lab are HS, ZH, YM, M, LK and HLA. HS was the one who brought me to the lab from the briefing on the first day, and he's been the one guiding me the most since the beginning, so I think he's my supervisor. =) His project is kinda confusing tho and (arrrggh) too many steps to follow. ZH and LK let me help them abit (more like, 给他们添麻烦 =X ), YM taught me how to do Western Blot screening and other stuff. M and HLA were doing their own stuff but they did talk to me. They're all nice ppl. :)
Learnt alot of things this week le, but then still not confident lei. LK has this habit of asking me a few times if I'm sure what I'm doing, probably to test my confidence in handling.. whatever. -.-" But i find it funny. There was once I was supposed to stack a box of supplies under the table, and accidentally knocked over an empty box straight after LK was telling me what to do.. Den aft being stunned for a second, LK burst out laughing. Ahahaa. Ermz. Think I looked pretty stupid laaa. Who cares tho. Muz learn to be thick-skinned. :)
Finally today's Saturday le. The week passed so fast! i only have 7 weeks down there. At first 7 weeks seemed damn long, now no longer so. Ytd night I felt sooo tired, but still was dragged to Orchard Road for shopping with mum. Clothes again -.-
