today i went to school, and i saw this guy in rollerblades (without brakes - how cool is that?!?!)
and he was going down the stairs, SIDEWAYS, WITHOUT holding on to the railing.
plus, the stairs had no railings at all. he's amazing la.
i cant even do that!!
i came back to school to use the media viewing zone in the library.. i had 'underworld' and 'ice age2' with me, so i returned 'ice age2' first cos i hadnt finished watching 'underworld'. then i borrowed 'i not stupid2' to watch in the media viewing zone. i saw 'phantom of the opera' on the shelf, so i just took it and put into my bag to borrow AFTER i watched 'underworld' and 'i not stupid2'. stayed in the media viewing zone for 4 hours WITH THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA INSIDE MY BAG.
then, i returned 'underworld' and 'i not stupid2', and borrowed 'monster-in-law' and 'potc2' which i reserved... and promptly forgot about phantom.. it really flew my mind. i walked out of the theft detection sensor thing that all libraries have, twice.. and the alarm went off. twice. the indian lady suspected sth, asked me to open my bag to check, so of cos i did, but even then i didnt remember about the phantom dvd in my bag.. when i saw it, i just took it out.. cos.. me.. if i didnt do anyth wrong, nth suprises me.. and i DIDNT MEAN to steal that dvd, just forgot about it.
and what happened? that indian lady, asked another indian lady (the one i dont like) to come out and take down my name (WTF), and the chinese lady even suspected me. that look, la. idiotic. then there was one whole long line of male lecturers (old codgers) who were all looking at me. huh. okay, so i pretended nobody was around, ignored them, then after that indian woman took down my name and admin no. (she even got the no.s wrong, WTF. lao hua yan le) and she asked me a few times if i wanted to borrow the dvd.
me: no, i cant, i already borrowed two.
then she asked me again.
man she's slow.
i suspect she wanted to prolong my humiliation (makes me hate her more)
me: no, i dont want it, cos i already have 2 dvds.
her: do you want it? u can borrow 2 more books to get that dvd
me: no no, its okay, i dont want it
thinking: what makes you think i have 2 books to borrow?
her: so you still want anot
me: no. can i reserve it? (acts dumb for her benefit)
her: no, you cant!
me: .......... then i dont want it
her: gives me a dirty look
me: *smiles dumbly at her and rolls my eyes*
one lecturer gave me that suspicious look. i dont like it. i didnt do anything wrong. i wasnt INTENDING to steal the dvd. gawd. if i were, my face would have crumbled, my hand would have shook while taking out my admin card and the phantom dvd. and they didnt. WTF
so i gave that lecturer a dirty look (not entirely, i was holding myself back a little, else he would prob have died from my look of daggers) and i stalked out of the library.
gawd, they are soo stupid, why cant even get facts right before taking down my admin. no. and name?? and i always go library to borrow things. heck man, if they dare to give me any more suspicious looks, i swear i'll give them black face everyday. they surely recognise me. hey, would a thief ever 'patronise' the same place everyday, most of the time, to let ppl recognise him and catch him??? -.-

went back to school to see my cells. grew to 20% confluency. sighs. have to wait til friday to subculture, and then next week we start reoptimisation. fyp sucks.
i went out with wifey today, we ate at "Noodle House" at suntec B1. the food is not nice. the kimchi doesnt taste like kimchi, more like raw spring onions, the japanese rice was too dry. they gave us winter melon soup that tastes weird, in a japanese-style soup bowl (made me expect miso soup) and the jelly dessert tasted like ice kachang flavouring. that red-red and green-green sugary taste that tastes of nothing. free flow of coffee and drinks like fruit punch, but the drinks are all diluted cheap stuff, might as well make our own.
after lunch, went to the face shop to try all the nail polishes. tried almost all the colors of nail polish i want (wifey's got great fingernails! so nicely-shaped, i'm jealous) and i used the nail polish remover - heck, FOC, might as well. but didnt use outrageous amounts - bought nail strengthener, light reddish-pink. nice. 2.90. and its invisible on nails too!! okay, maybe abit pinkish o,0
b/c we kept trying on nail polishes (my fault, keep wanting to try everything, on wifey's nice fingernails) we were late for the movie for 5 mins. watched Ratatouille at Eng Wah Suntec at 2.45. I bot my grape malt candy for 1 dollar, was sucking it into weird shapes in the cinema. first time i'v seen wifey smile THROUGHOUT the whole movie, but hey, didnt hear you laugh la, you said u did =X laugh louder la, hubby here, it's okay.. u heard me laugh too many times.. x))
after that, we went to carrefour to walk-walk, bot my shoes (hey nice la) den we went to missha to try all the nail polishes. the face shop sells better nail polishes tho; the nail polishes are not too diluted, and missha's flower shaped nail polish container is one of the stupidest designs i'v ever seen. nice, but functional?? NO. cant even get out the remaining 15% of nail polish. lame man -.-

I'v been really baad. Wanna know why? Cos I'v been leaving anonymous tags on ppl's blog. Ppl namely some ppl. I think it's not safe to say their names, what if they search for their names in blogs? Okay la, heck care. KangYong and WaiSeen.
KY's been getting neutral comments on his posts, and WS.. no need to say la. I left one. Then I ignored her tag after that asking who I am.. I wouldnt say, man. Not after leaving that weird tag.
Life's sian la. Now holidays, but eh, screwed up my FYP again. I'm so f-ing stupid. How the heck can we get 21 million cells from two Petri-dishes after 2days' growth?!?!?! WTF WTF WTF WTF!!!!! Actual no. is [let me seriously go and count] .... 2.4 million cells from two Petri-dishes....... -.-""" why didnt I realise?! So, our cell counting and of cos, the seeding wrong liao, so we lost another week. Left a few weeks to finish up FACS and flow cytometry and re-optimisation. I'm hacked-off. Why this FYP so screwed, our teacher also nv warn us or what.. like she only tell the other grp.. then when our grp ask her, she says, go and ask the other group, i already told them. Eh why such disparity in treatments?
So sad. And fucked off. Winnie is really really really hacked-off too.
Tml will go back to see my handiwork, see if the stupid cells are growing. I seeded... [let me count..] 52.5K cells/Petri dish. And I only subcultured 4 dishes cos i thot that would be enough cells. Cos from the '21 million' cells, i thot i would have subcultured enough cell per dish... freak man.
but enjoyed two shows from today and yesterday. Watched 'When a stranger calls' yesterday, and 'The woods' today. 'When a stranger calls' is a much much better show, cos 'The woods' was damn draggy and the plot doesnt make sense.
The former is a movie about a serial killer stalking his victim in a cat-and-mouse game, spanning the hours that a babysitter (a young teen) spent in the Mandrakis residence out in the forest. And it makes it all the creepier as that babysitter's friend (who swung by the house to visit her) and the Mandrakis housekeeper are murdered in the process.

Camilla Belle as Jill Johnson the babysitter (she's pretty! reminds me of my aunt)
'The woods' is about a girl who goes to boarding school, not knowing the headmistress and her teachers (the cronies) are witches who want the students' lives, and that the girl is the key - kill her, and the rest dies too. Lame. And draggy. And the plot doesnt make sense.

i want one. the red one with yellow buttons. so nice to play, and so cute too.. this was what i had 10 years ago.. and i want back my 10-years-ago toy..
ah keng had the white one with green buttons (the picture one has red buttons) and we used to play it on the bus tgt on the way to tuition. he was 8 i was 9. ahhh. his mum bought it for us. sighs.. it's so cute.

Lunching was supposed to be with granpa and granma today at sui gu's house. Then mum called my bro and me to come down at duno what time lol. And cos I was still busy printing stuff, she called the house and started screaming at me over the phone why you still havent come down?!?!?! i'm coming down ler, wait, still doing sth.. you know everybody's waiting for you come down this instant or i'll.... kiap. sorry but I'm packing my stuff right now, no time to hear you screaming. And you'r being unreasonable. I automatically do not listen to anyone screaming for no reason.
And in the car got screamed at again. Whilst everyone else looks/hears on. Irritating and freaking humiliating. Anyway my reputation's ruined so I dont care liao. More scoldings wont make my bad reputation get better. Will only make it worst, which I can tahan, either way. 乖乖宝宝 i am not. But at least my cousins still like me. (i think) So long as their parents dont poison their minds against me - dont stick/talk to WanLing, she's a bad influence. (oh come on, let your kids do their own thinking and choosing. so what if i argue with my mum, all teens do that dont they? and all teens are angsty. i just happen to wear my heart on my sleeves) Ohh yes, one set of parents already did. I know who you are. But sorry lah, I'm just acting dao to you right now (and everyone else) cos I dont wanna get angry anymore.
Oh, and I'm very surprised when I read some other ppl's blogs. The seemingly sweet or pure innocent little Angels arent what they seem like on the surface. I found out that this certain someone argued with her mum and hates everything else. But to others, she's just pure and well.. sickeningly sweet. Not that I dont like her or anything - she's actually really nice - but it's soooo unreal that she smiles all the time. Even when there's nothing to make her happy at the mo.
i'm a stupid, angsty teen. so any consolations for me? =XX
