oh no, NOT! i'm trying to psycho myself to like school. or LOVE it, even. but it's not working! i need a mantra.. ohmm???
p5 的时候: 慧文:老师,婉绫的成绩很好呢!她拿到第一名!! 黄老师:拿到第一名是没用的,她的日记写的每次千篇一律。。! 我:。。。。。 全班: (during recess) wanling, dont be sad ah, that old hag always talk rubbish de, what '我给你们面子,没有在hall骂你们!!' in the end she also scold us so loudly in class, the other classes surely can hear one lor.. ur results v good le wor..
p6 的时候: wanling ah, why have your results dropped so much? your class position has dropped 16 places. what's distracting you from your studies??
sec sch的时候: wanling, how did you drop 3 grades? better work hard you know!
现在啊, 不用说了。。好挂念 p5 的时候, 每个人都认为我是'好成绩之女王'...
some people are late bloomers. i think i'm an early bloomer, and now the flowers are dying.. i miss my heydays. i cant believe my heydays are over. or maybe it just feels like. maybe my flowers will bloom again soon, maybe i will have another few more years to peak. hopefully. cos right now i'm just stagnating, deteriorating, growing old mentally. i need self-help books. i need to read more books. books! and get myself cultured. to be more feminine and human. x]
but right now, i'm hungry.
mug on, wanner!! and STOP PROCRASTINATING!!! 先苦后甜!!!!!!!!!
i got through my first week in school, in one piece. but though i dont really feel sleepy during classes (this is the first week!!!), i can feel it coming that i'll be tired throughout the rest of the sem... late nights, projects, over-saturated brain, leaking brain juices
and in this first week i safely say that i havent got rid of this tendency to zone out during lessons.. not because i'm sleepy, but because the lessons are boring.. i zone out for like a few seconds during each lecture, at ANY random time, and sometimes during the crucial bit where the teacher is dishing out some really important information for us to understand the whole topic. and i miss it! GAH.. needless to say i dont understand the lecture - can understand what the teacher says/teaches only when i dont zone out AND IT'S NOT HELPING ME!
school sucks when you're me. i need help not zoning out. do i have a short attention span?
met keng yesterday. he came up to me whilst i was eating lunch.
it's been good talking to him, because although he is 1 year younger than me, he's more mature in his thinking. like for example, he will tell me to "don't care about stupid people or people who piss you off. just do your own stuff". i mean, yea, i hear that all the time from grown-ups, but to hear that from a kid younger than me?? and also, another thing that makes me 'listen' to him though he's my 'di-di', is that he's in the same poly as me, he feels the same thing as me (that people are making use of him) and he knows how to handle them. well, same as me, but just that he's good. he should be a politician. he knows how to treat 'friends' so that they don' t take advantage of him, he knows when to help out his true friends and so on.. sometimes i'm just too nice or too weak for my own good.
anyways, i talked to jing just now. this is funny!

Ellen (Joanna Chilcoat) - Vlad's gf, loner, girl with great voice
Michael (Robin de Jesus) - gay, whose parents cant accept him as who he is
Fritzi (Anna Kendrick) - Jill's gopher, scheming, scary little girl [Bert's quote from the movie]
Jill (Alana Allen) - vainpot, vixen, Plastic
Jenna (Tiffany Taylor) - fat girl with good voice who is shunned by her father because of her weight, jaws wired shut
Bert Hanley (Don Dixon) - camp choreographer
my favourite, is of course, Vlad. In the film he's a charmer, a little of a quiet guy, but one with confidence. But he's a jerk when his animal instincts come out (because he's a man) and in the film he's seen to kiss 4 girls. Like THAT. Mouth-to-mouth. Poor Ellen.
Another reason why I like Vlad/Dan Letterle, is because he's got a nice, soothing voice, that can be heard in ''Wild Horses''. THAT's the reason why I love that song.

My favourites are Wild Horses, Ladies Who Lunch, I Sing for You, Century Plant, and Here's Where I Stand. How Shall I See You Through My Tears is the theme song's that's stuck in my head. Can't get it out.. This song, plus Century Plant, and Turkey Lurkey Time (these are the ones I remember) and more have a really catchy tune/beat.
I'm getting the soundtrack and the DVD. Soon.
I don't know if these are theatre songs, but they sound like.. They don't sound like Phantom of the Opera, but close. :)
IT has been unable to focus on anything. Not studies. Not relationships. Not even simple storybooks.
IT has been unable to look at anybody in the eyes. Not passersby, not friends, not classmates, not acquiantances. Unless the person is talking to IT.
IT has been feeling down in the dumps every single day.
A brain is a marvellous thing, capable of many functions.. But not ITS brain. ITS brain has not been functioning, IT'S unable to think clearly, absorb and understand words IT reads or hears. Something is really really really wrong...
Feeling very stressed. My mom always wants me to do everything for her - help out this and that, RIGHT NOW.
eff-ing la. The maid is doing it, and she doesnt need extra people, yet mum ask me to help. And mum just goes and does her things. I've got my own things to do too!!!!!! Who wants to cook. Even when I do, I prefer it as a solo act. A one-man show. Cos I dont work well in a team. Of people I dont like. GRR I dont like my maid!!
Today is gor gor's birthday. Gor gor, more commonly known as Leslie Cheung to fans and non-fans alike, was born in 1956. That makes him 51 years old this year!! Happy Birthday, Leslie!
On a lighter note, these are some videos I received through email, they are super funny!
yi ling's got nice hair. her hair's down half her back, and she has a whole head full of jet black hair. plus what i did for her ytd, her hair's just beautiful.
me: okay ah, dont move dont move, i'm going to do your hair, near your ear YL: ahahahah orh me: hey dont move! YL: *wriggles and laughs maniacally* me: dont move LA. later i burn your ear then you know YL: *keeps wriggling and laughing* mum: *looks at YL with a mortified face*
finally, DONE! so nice la. now she's really straight. but no pic la. my hands full of L'oreal, and she chiong-ed home cos her mum was nagging her. so no pic.
before that we went ECP cycling with xun and beiyu. nobody blades with me, so i cycled. how come no one wanna learn to blade?!?! so un-adventurous sia. sian le.
today i'm going to watch ratatouille again! this time with my mum and my bro. 7 at bishan GV!! and this round there's eng subs!! i cant wait. to see remy again. to whack my bro and laugh my heart out. and steal his chips. heheh.
reading all the testimonials on my friendster page makes me reminiscise again. i miss all my old friends, and all the weird times tgt that made them write weird testimonials for me.. not really testimo bahx but more of messages, nevertheless still heart-warming. x)
luv them all, it's been ages since i spoke to sera, mx, my, tang, kQ, kS, ed, natty and etc etc etc. k the times in IJ - i didnt really cherish them but they were fun for the most part esp dur AEP and with alex, jan, gen, natty, mari, audey. duno where they'v gone tho. sighhss. natty's in aussie, alex and the rest are in sg, but we're all are tangled up in our own lives, sort-of isolated and yet no desire to do anything but slack once we've got the chance (me, at least) that we dont even really plan to meet up.
i'm feeling damn weird today, probably cos it's rainy and gloomy and i'm left all alone at home.
after two days, sadly to say i only read half of the harry potter book 7. at this rate, i'll most likely take 4 days.. cos of all the interruptions - yesterday the whole day was spent painting my aunt's house, and today, we're gg fishing in msia.
yesterday i painted the cornse (according to mum) that junction between the walls and the ceiling. i had to tilt my head upwards while on a high stool, so now my head still feels as if it's suspended upside down on a ceiling. i need to go and lie down all the time. but painting is fun work, my right arm feels more muscular. x)
today.. yes, i read hp7 for 2hours, and only finished part of the book, dont know how many pages, but i think i read slowly cos sometimes the words were swimming in front of my eyes, and i had to re-read many sentences a few times.
so i'm gg fishing! hope i'll be able to read my hp7 while they'r fishing, i'm not too crazy about fishes.
Am a girl who generally acts nice in public, but inside her head, she probably thinks you're a waste of life. And that's why she's quiet.
