today i went to school, and i saw this guy in rollerblades (without brakes - how cool is that?!?!) and he was going down the stairs, SIDEWAYS, WITHOUT holding on to the railing. plus, the stairs had no railings at all. he's amazing la. i cant even do that!!
i came back to school to use the media viewing zone in the library.. i had 'underworld' and 'ice age2' with me, so i returned 'ice age2' first cos i hadnt finished watching 'underworld'. then i borrowed 'i not stupid2' to watch in the media viewing zone. i saw 'phantom of the opera' on the shelf, so i just took it and put into my bag to borrow AFTER i watched 'underworld' and 'i not stupid2'. stayed in the media viewing zone for 4 hours WITH THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA INSIDE MY BAG.
then, i returned 'underworld' and 'i not stupid2', and borrowed 'monster-in-law' and 'potc2' which i reserved... and promptly forgot about phantom.. it really flew my mind. i walked out of the theft detection sensor thing that all libraries have, twice.. and the alarm went off. twice. the indian lady suspected sth, asked me to open my bag to check, so of cos i did, but even then i didnt remember about the phantom dvd in my bag.. when i saw it, i just took it out.. cos.. me.. if i didnt do anyth wrong, nth suprises me.. and i DIDNT MEAN to steal that dvd, just forgot about it.
and what happened? that indian lady, asked another indian lady (the one i dont like) to come out and take down my name (WTF), and the chinese lady even suspected me. that look, la. idiotic. then there was one whole long line of male lecturers (old codgers) who were all looking at me. huh. okay, so i pretended nobody was around, ignored them, then after that indian woman took down my name and admin no. (she even got the no.s wrong, WTF. lao hua yan le) and she asked me a few times if i wanted to borrow the dvd.
me: no, i cant, i already borrowed two. then she asked me again. man she's slow. i suspect she wanted to prolong my humiliation (makes me hate her more) me: no, i dont want it, cos i already have 2 dvds. her: do you want it? u can borrow 2 more books to get that dvd me: no no, its okay, i dont want it thinking: what makes you think i have 2 books to borrow? her: so you still want anot me: no. can i reserve it? (acts dumb for her benefit) her: no, you cant! me: .......... then i dont want it her: gives me a dirty look me: *smiles dumbly at her and rolls my eyes* one lecturer gave me that suspicious look. i dont like it. i didnt do anything wrong. i wasnt INTENDING to steal the dvd. gawd. if i were, my face would have crumbled, my hand would have shook while taking out my admin card and the phantom dvd. and they didnt. WTF
so i gave that lecturer a dirty look (not entirely, i was holding myself back a little, else he would prob have died from my look of daggers) and i stalked out of the library.
gawd, they are soo stupid, why cant even get facts right before taking down my admin. no. and name?? and i always go library to borrow things. heck man, if they dare to give me any more suspicious looks, i swear i'll give them black face everyday. they surely recognise me. hey, would a thief ever 'patronise' the same place everyday, most of the time, to let ppl recognise him and catch him??? -.-
